Chicken Eggs

A barn egg is an egg laid by a chicken that is allowed to move freely within a barn. Barn-laid eggs are a good alternative to cage eggs, and a well-managed barn that provides enrichment for the hen can be just as welfare-friendly for a hen as a proper free-range facility.

A free-range egg is an egg produced by a bird kept in natural non-intensive conditions.  At night, free-range hens are housed in barns which keep them safe. This also allows them to express normal behaviour with perches for roosting and a maximum of nine hens per square meter of usable inside space.

Duck eggs are larger than chicken eggs, with a larger yolk-to-white ratio that makes them ideal for baked goods. Golden in color and rich in flavor, baked goods made with duck eggs tend to be moist and fluffy, rise better, and hold their shape well.
